Fred Hanners was born and raised in Newton AL. Fred learned a strong work ethic from his parents. By the age of 12 his parents owned a grocery store and hardware store. Fred and his brother Stephen were required to work in the family businesses. They were taught to have a strong handshake and to do what you say you’re going to do. Taking care of the customer was just what you did.
Fred and his wife have owned several small businesses and a 6 House Broiler farm. Fred and his family sold their poultry farm in 2016 through PoultrySouth and Southeastern Land Group.
That’s when Fred decided to pursue Real Estate, specifically the Land and Ag side of the business. Five years later he’s a Land Agent with Southeastern Land Group. He is licensed in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
Fred is primarily a Land and Poultry Farm Agent. Helping Sellers and Buyers through their transaction is big deal. In many cases this will be the largest transaction a buyer and seller may encounter. He uses our years of experience and the team concept to help with these transactions. Whatever you may have he will be glad to help.
Fred is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, the National Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute, Alabama Realtors Land Institute and the Southeast Alabama Association of REALTORS.
He lives in Wicksburg, AL with his wife Candi and their son Will. They also have a daughter who lives and works in Nashville.
