  • Dave: Well Jonathan, that was another great Land Show! Man in spite of me and you. It was a good show. You probably brought great gifts from Alpha.
  • Johnny: Yeah, we had Mr. Preston Roberts, who’s the Legislative Affairs Director for Alpha. He came on to talk to us about some of the new things that are going on. Some of the aid that’s available to farmers and ranchers, cattlemen and loggers and foresters, those sorts of things, landowners that cut some timber. Now a lot of things that have come out of this Coronavirus over the last Actually it’s hard to believe it’s been six months but anyway, there’s some funds available. And so Preston, talked to us about what Alpha has done to help landowners around stay.
  • Dave: Preston’s an impressive young guy doing a good job lobbying for landowners and stuff like that.
  • Johnny: Yeah, for sure
  • Dave: And then, speaking of landowners, a lot of landowners who want to buy ATVs and UTVs literally owns one of the biggest most successful boat dealerships and ATV UTV dealerships. Silica marine and ATV there and silica you can’t get a Polaris, you can’t get a boat right now. It’s just unbelievable. They’re just flying off the shelf they do a great job! We also have a family farm and business the homestead farms this really incredible farm and this farm that we have for sale. It was a great segment.
  • Johnny: Yeah, and then we went to Clay County the volunteer county gave us a little background on that and we talked to our good friend Robert King. He gave us a farmland report over there about what he’s doing on his cattle farm getting ready for winter grazing and fascinating, I learn something every time I listen to one of these experts talk
  • Dave: Robert brought a lot of good information about fescue. And then we closed the show with old trapper Ken. He was out trapping around with his trap line. Catching those otters, catching those vapors catching the coyotes. He’s doing a great job helping to eradicate predators to make for a great hunting season. It’s a great show Jonathan and we appreciate everybody watching the review of the show. Be sure to listen to the entire land show with Dave and Johnny.
