  • Jessica: Thanks for having me, I enjoyed it.
  • Dave: You did a great job. We’ll do your part here just in a second but let’s start off with our first guest.
  • Johnny: Yeah, we have Ms. Taylor Hatchet with Boozer farms there in Thorsby, Tilton County, Alabama, our family farmer. And we talked about what’s going on at her farm and then the community supported agriculture and what a great program that is for farmers around the state. So you’ll definitely want to hear from Taylor.
  • Dave: Yeah, and we stayed with the farming theme. We went from, from a new farmer to a fellow – A very experienced farmer a long time there on the Talladega clay Candyline, Mr. Bobby Ray Holmes of Homestead Farms. He’s got a beautiful place and great place to visit for a staycation on the edge of Talladega National Forest close to Cheaha. A really interesting segment.
  • Johnny: Then we talked to Randall Upchurch who was a recent recipient of an apex award. He was the top producer of agribusiness sales across the whole country. So we’re, we’re blessed to work with a good, good group of folks. And then Ran will talk to us about poultry farm sales and about what’s happening in the cattle market. So you’ll, you’ll definitely want to hear about the farmland segment there.
  • Dave: Yeah, congratulations, congratulations to you. And the nine other team members with Southeastern land group that were apex award winners

  • Dave: And Austin Angeworth was in the top twenty it was fantastic. And Jessica, your segment was great, really telling us about lifestyle living out in the countryside, close to town. Tell us a little bit about what’s going on with Southeastern estate.
