  • Pam Swanner, Executive Director of the Alabama Black Belt Adventure Association, is on to discuss the Big Buck Photo contest and other great things happening around the Black Belt.
  • Chris Isaacson, President of the Alabama Forestry Association, is in studio to talk about some great new things happening in the forest products industry around the state of Alabama.
  • Taylor Hart, with First South Farm Credit, discussed current trends and loan rates in Alabama land lending.
  • Dent Stallworth, Southeastern Land Group’s newest agent, shares about his background and how he is helping people buy and sell land across Alabama.

  • Dave: Jonathan was another great land show, ma’am and started off strong, had some real leaders from around the state. And Miss Pam Swann with Albany Black Belt Adventures, talking about the Big Buck contests and 23 counties. Right.
  • Johnny: That’s it, man. So far, 50 entrance and it’s a good deal. Check that out at the Alabama Outdoor Association. No, sorry. Alabama Black Belt Adventure Association website. Got a lot of good stuff going on there. And then Mr. Chris Isaacson came in. He’s the President and CEO of the Alamo Forestry Association. Gave us a good update on what’s going on with forest products around the state.
  • Dave: We kind of went around the world. He gives such a good macro view of what’s going on. And really, Chris is a really important person for Alabama landowners. His leadership, keeping land taxes low and all the good things in the forest industry, a lot of good things going on there.
  • Johnny: The big takeaway for me was that we have almost doubled production capacity for forest products in the state a couple of years.
  • Dave: It’s going up. That’s really going up. And then we had a jump in. Taylor Hart came in here. He jumped on in studio. He’s back in there. I think he’s born out from shooting basketball or something, though. He mainly gave us basketball tips. I’m just kidding. Taylor’s refers to farm credit great ambassador for them, talking about all the great things they do. Want to thank them for being a longtime sponsor of the show, for sure.
  • Johnny: And then we wrapped it up with Southeastern Anchorage newest agent, Dennis Stalwarth. He’s from Monroe County. He’s over near Auburn now. He’s a forestry grad from Auburn and providing a lot of good service. We’re in the middle of our first deal. We just got it under contract and I are doing one.
