Bill lives on a farm in Fayette County, AL on the banks of the Sipsey River where he was born and raised. After playing high school football, he was a walk-on at Auburn and earned a football scholarship. Although he was a starter for 3 years, he is best remembered for blocking two punts in the 1972, “Punt Bama Punt”, game between Alabama and Auburn. . He is the father of three boys, John, Will and Daniel. And Blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Reagan, Jack and William.

He graduated Auburn University in 1974 with a BS degree in Agriculture Business and Economics. He has been a Real Estate broker in Alabama for over 40 years, his main occupation has been in the Oil and Gas Industry working in the Black Warrior Basin of Alabama. In 1990, Bill formed a company, Natural Gas & Oil, Inc., dealing with minerals, mineral rights, land, development and the production of Oil & Gas Wells in NW Alabama & Mississippi.

Bill along with his sons built a hunting cabin on a 900 acre farm on the banks of the Sipsey River. He, his family and friends have enjoyed hunting deer, rabbits, turkey, waterfowl and fishing the Sipsey. Bill knows land and all the benefits of land ownership, either for the pure enjoyment of recreation or for a financial investment.
