Brian is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) and a Registered Forester with Southeastern Land Group, in Alabama and Georgia. As President of our Timber Sales Division, he uses this unique skillset to simultaneously give professional real estate and professional forestry advice. This perspective has served his seller and buyer clients well over the nearly 10 years he has been in the land and timber business.
From mini farm development to large timberland management, Brian has the experience and attention to detail that is needed for his clients to make informed decisions for their land investments.
Brian feels that It is an honor and a privilege to get to assist great people every day, by making important and informed decisions, on selling their property or selling their timber. These are two things most people will only do maybe once in their lifetime, and he is grateful to be a part of that process.
Brian is a member of the Alabama Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute and currently serves on the Board for the Alabama Chapter. He was recognized by the Realtors Land Institute with an APEX award for sales production in 2020. He is also a member of the Compass Circle Young Alumni group at the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at Auburn University. He is also a Contributor on the “Timber Talk” segment for The Land Show , weekly radio show.

He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry. He and his family live on their farm in Camp Hill, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Brian and his wife Sarah have two boys, Bruce and John Patton. Their family attends Trinity Presbyterian Church in Opelika.
